If you are regularly using popular brands of household solutions, such as bleach, all purpose cleaners, and detergents, you may want to consider changing your cleaning regimen. There are many unexplained illnesses plaguing our population and many believe a main culprit can be various household chemicals.
A recent study from Silent Spring Institute in Massachusetts showed a possible link between cancer and chemical household cleaners. Researchers found a higher risk of contracting breast cancer for women who were exposed to household cleaners. These statistics were compared with other possible causes such as genetic heredity. The frequent use of cleaners alongside air fresheners and other chemical cleaning products raised the risk of acquiring breast cancer two-fold. Researchers advised moms to practice rules of safe cleaning in their homes.
